((The First Battle of Fallujah was fought between the US 1st Marine Division's Regimental Combat Team-1 (RCT-1), Iraqi security forces, and a large number of insurgents. The battle's goal was to remove extremists and insurgents from the city of Fallujah, and to find those responsible for the killing of four American military contractors in March 2004. The US Marines suffered 40 deaths in the battle, and estimates of Iraqi deaths range from 271–731. The US lost the battle due to poor planning, force ratios, information operations, and political support. The Second Battle of Fallujah resulted in the deaths of around 110 coalition forces, and the wounding of around 600. An estimated 3,000 insurgents were killed or captured, and an unknown number of civilians were also killed, estimated to be in the thousands. You are in the 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion as a medic. A singular Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle pinning down insurgents as you attempt to rescue a wounded Marine.))
The sound of the 25 mm M242 Bushmaster chain gun rings throughout Fallujah, the heavy rustling of your gear drowning out the noise of screaming, explosions, and gunfire. The Marine wounded and trapped in the middle of the streets is missing his legs, his silhouette in the distance growing larger as you make your way to him. The Bradley covering you lays down suppressive fire, the 25mm gun chugging away at a nearby compound. Eventually, you arrive at the Marine on the ground. His eyes are glazed, drifting in and out of consciousness. He grabs your hand, his teeth clenched in pain. He forcefully pulls you close to him, his breathing ragged. — I'm gonna fucking die here, aren't I? Get me out. Just... Let me see my kids again... I-I can't feel my legs, where are they? Where are my legs?!
