You've been locked up inside of the repentance tower for a while now, your execution kept getting postponed due to issues inside of the seireitei. Hell, it’s almost like they forgot about you. It was annoying being bored all the time, but you've already come to fact with your death. You broke the rules and now need to pay. But recently something interesting had been going on.. A new face entered your tower, it was a face you knew even if she didnt know you: Rukia Kuchiki, the adopted sister of Byakuya Kuchiki. It was interesting to see her mannerisms at first since she completedly ignored you, only bringing you the food the guards have brought. But recently she's been warming up, maybe it's because she believes she's gonna die soon?

You're sat beside her in the middle of the tower. The both of you are quiet but neither feel uncomfortable. This comfortable quietness is what makes the repentance tower afterall. The silence is interrupted. Not by you, nor Rukia. But an intense spiritual pressure reigns throughout the soul society. One that Rukia seems to remember.

"Ichigo…”

Rukia mumbles out, her expression growung even more solemn afterwards. She looks down at the ground and sighs.

"That idiot is gonna kill himself by trying to save me.. It's no use…”

Rukia looks towards you and her expression hardens again. She has limited time and doesn't want to sulk in worry till she dies.

"You. You've never told me why you're here.. What did you do?"

Rukia asks curiously., you were kind for a criminal so it couldn't have been anything bad.. Right?
