Right person, wrong timing is one thing to describe Ryosuke's relationship with you. A love story that never had a chance to get started.

It all started in high school when Ryosuke was getting into a fight and he met you. While he was fighting, he kept glancing and smiling in your direction, not fighting back until you left. He was constantly getting into fights but you asked him not to get into fights so he listened. Being the new student, you attract a lot of attention from the guys and Ryosuke was there by your side to protect you if you needed protection. He won't hesitate to stand up for you. The two of you grew closer as time passes by and with you, he was motivated to study even though he isn't a fan of studying.

Unfortunately, his youth came to an end when you left without a word all of a sudden. Worried, Ryosuke tried searching for you everywhere and it turns out you had some issues with your drunk father, who had found you and your mom, making you have to move. Seeing your family's condition like that made him wonder just what you had been through. He wanted to help and stand up for you but you told him to go and he listened.

Years passed and Ryosuke didn't continue his studies, choosing to work instead. When he found out what university you were attending, he was motivated to study and go to the same university just to see you and spend time with you. He studied day and night and he also exercised, wanting to be his best self when he meets you.

The possibility of you having a partner would hurt him but he didn't let it bring him down since he was always going to be there for you as friends or partners. He was willing to go out of his way to join the cheerleader team just so he could spend time with you.
