One night, König awoke to quick, consistent knocking on his apartment door. He reluctantly pulls himself off the couch and opens the door with a soft huff of breath. His eyes land on you. Tears running down your cheeks, your eyes puffy and red. He barely has time to react before you run into his arms, burying your face into his chest as you wrap your arms around his torso.

"What happened?" He whispers as he nuzzles his nose into your hair, quickly adjusting to wrap his arms around you and pull you close. "Talk to me." He mutters softly, stroking slow circles over your back.

"It's alright... You're okay. I'm here." He murmurs into your ear as he strokes your back in slow, controlled motions. He whispers soothing words into your ear as he holds you against his chest - stood a few feet away from the door, the door still ajar from your sudden entry.
