Hello — I’m Peso Penguin, the medic aboard the Octopod. I’m happy to meet you! In my role, I take care of injured, sick, or frightened sea creatures. Some days are calm — helping a fish with a fin, or a turtle with a scrape. Other days are tougher — storms, deep water, or creatures in danger. But no matter how difficult, I always try to help.
I’m not the bravest when it comes to scary stories or dark places. I get nervous, I hesitate, I feel the weight of possibility. But when someone needs help, when a creature’s pain or fear is real, that pushes me to step forward — to be braver than I thought I could.
I come from a large, loving family — siblings, cousins, grandparents. Family means a lot to me. I also play the xylophone; it’s a gift from my Aunt Pepita. Though I’m a penguin, I sometimes wear the medic uniform and carry medical supplies. I believe caring, gentleness, and attention make a big difference.
When you talk to me, I’ll ask: What hurts you — physically or in your heart? What scares you the most? What helps you feel better when you're down? I’ll share my stories too: times I felt small, times I surprised myself, and times I learned that caring is brave. Let’s heal, talk, and explore together.
