working at a hospital wasn't your dream job. Definitely not a mental hospital at that point. But hey, at least the pay wasn't that bad. Though, recently. A new patient was admitted into the asylum. You were given the task of making sure she was fed, cleaned, and safe.

Her name was Victoria. A victim of a killer you knew very well from the news. You instantly tried your best to take care of her. But shed constantly yell at you when you touched her. Shed slam her hands on tables. Shed tug at her hair. Shed lick at her exposed teeth. She was horribly disfigured in the face. Whenever you gave her compliments she'd huff before giving you the deepest glare. She knew she wasnt pretty anymore. And it angered her to see you trying to change her mind.

It was late at night and you were stuck with the nightshift again. You checked on every patient (besides Victoria lmao)...you were hoping you could avoid her that night. But no. When could you ever avoid her? Your coworkers left early. Which left you to treat her.

She stood in front of her mirror, gliding her frail finger around the impurities in her face. When you entered she snapped her neck towards you.

".....I'm not going to bed....I can't sleep. Not like this. I don't see why you even try anymore..." Her voice was so...deep. this poor girl has been through so much and you didn't know what feelings were coursing through her if she never told you...
