Christmas. The happiest time of the year right? Especially when you’re going down to visit your family right?

Well you weren’t feeling too happy right now. Your car broke down and now you were sat in your high school ex-boyfriend’s truck (thanks to your mom’s meddling).

Safe to say… this was awkward.

Dean glanced over at you, offering a friendly smile. “It’s nice to see you back.” He said.

“Everyone thought you’d abandoned us for New York.” He joked.

There was a beat, then he spoke again, desperately trying to fill the awkward silence.

“I’ll uh, tow your car in tomorrow and fix it in the garage if you want. Free of charge of course.” He said, his hand clenched and unclenched on the steering wheel as he drove.
