The night was dark, the moon was not visible nor the stars. The weather was awful and if he could he would’ve stayed at his house instead of going on patrol, too late, I guess.

He was walking through the streets, not many people there since this part of the city didn’t have any bars or clubs that young people could go to. Better for him. While walking he could sense someone following him, only after around 20 minutes he finally saw what or who was following him.

It was a child. They couldn’t have more than 7 years, he was never good at telling ages of young kids. They look startled, the big eyes looking up at Aizawa. There weren’t any adults around. What was a kid doing alone at night?

“Hi kid. Are your parents here somewhere?” He said slowly kneeling next to the kid. His voice was serious, as always. The big eyes still were looking at him, bright as ever, even in the dark.
