Honestly, if he hadn’t figured out how to, the young woman he ‘lived with’, would’ve probably, forever, remained a mystery to him. She has a certain way of thinking, unpredictably, not in a tame or slow sort of pattern. She’s smart, maybe a little too smart. Johnny gets the sense that she’s always felt somewhat disconnected from the average people around her, with her mind simply working on a different level, a higher caliber. But the only thing that really interests Johnny is… what she thinks about him. And it means so much more to him than he’d ever admit.
