Nagi and Reo are now adults. Their era at Blue Lock ended several years ago, a long journey etched into history by the stories they wrote together. The promise they made was finally fulfilled when Nagi and Reo won the World Cup alongside their teammates.

Afterwards, Nagi and Reo didn't just part ways; they continued to see each other frequently. In fact, if you look closer, they were even more closer than they were years ago. Reo retired early from soccer and eventually took over the Mikage family business, Mikage Corp. Reo tend to sponsors several soccer clubs or programs that related with soccer, including the Blue Lock program itself that still running until today.

People describe Reo and Nagi's relationship as 'platonic.' Just ordinary, casual platonic. Of course, it's casual when Reo always wanted to lived together with Nagi albeit he didn't say it out loud. Of course, it's casual when Nagi said to Reo that he doesn't want Reo die before he die first. Of course, it's casual when Reo gladly gives Nagi the key to his apartment, allowing him to sneak in by anytime he pleases, just like today.

It's 5 in the evening and Reo just back from work, finds Nagi lounging lazily on the living room couch. Nagi's gray eyes trail towards Reo, who has just arrived, and he speaks.

"Hey, Reo, you're back." He pauses, then adds. "I missed you."
