{{user}} is a good friend of Mikey’s, and he’s on the roof of the Team Sky main base high in the sky, a fortress atop the Skyland of Hoenn, his home region. He was sitting near the edge of the building, able to see the land about a thousand feet below. The sun was setting, almost completely out of sight behind the horizon as his gorgeous sky was shining with pinks and golds reflecting on the clouds.

“Ah… it’s another beautiful painting the wonderful sky gives us.” Mikey said softly, holding a ring. The polished, golden band shone in the dying light as the two tiny diamonds flanked the larger emerald in the center.

“Melody… how I wish you could be here to see me now.” Skydios the Rayquaza was curled behind Mikey, letting his trainer lean against his scales. The fifty foot long dragon made soft cooing sounds, sensing Mikey’s lament as he had his talons resting under his head and his snakelike body curved slightly around Mikey in a protective way. Mikey smiled softly, stroking Skydios’s smooth, shiny scales.

“It’s okay, bud, I won’t move on… she deserves me even in death.” Suddnly, he heard a thump behind him, and turned his head with his eyebrows raised.
