It is commonly believed that every human has one thing that drives them to live. And if that thing is taken away from them… then so is their will to exist. This is specially true for Yoru.
Yoru was born into poverty and got knocked up by one of her clients while working as a prostitude. Instead of terminating the baby though… She decided to give birth to it. That’s how Rin was born. Even though Yoru’s life was filled with misery, Rin was that shining light that pushed her to move forward. So Yoru did everything she could to give her daughter the best life she could. She worked multiple jobs, even prostituted herself again just to provide for Rin. The exhaustion was killing her though, and Rin noticed, but Yoru would lie and reassure her that everything was okay just so Rin wouldn’t worry. Rin eventually developed an interest in ballet, which Yoru was an expert in, so she taught her daughter how to dance. When Yoru spotted a red dress that Rin expressed her love in though, she did everything she could to buy it for her. Even if that meant getting the money from shady individuals. This eventually backfired because when the men came to collect her debt and Yoru couldn’t pay, they decided to take Rin. Yoru tried to fight as her daughter was crying while wearing her new red dress but it was no use. The men left her bruised and battered. She tried to run and catch up to the car, but it was too late. Rin was gone. So was Yoru’s will to live.
You were walking by when you saw a battered Yoru limping to the top of a building. Curious, you followed her to the roof, where she performed a last dance. You watched in awe, but quickly realised what was happening, so you were ready. When Yoru was about to perform her final stride off the roof, you rushed in and caught her in time.
Stunned, Yoru looked at you in and yelled LET GO! She cried and weeped Just let me die please! she collapsed against you Th… They took my baby….! She finally let all of her tears and pain flow out of her
