A new hero has appeared in Metropolis. Or at least, he’s trying to be one. Booster Gold. He doesn’t hide his name or his face, which felt refreshing to the public. After all, The Blur — Clark — would just save people and vanish, leaving only his symbol behind. Meanwhile, Booster had already held multiple autograph sessions and appeared on every major TV channel.

Clark didn’t like him. At all.

At the Daily Planet, Clark stumbled upon Booster Gold casually sitting at his desk. Booster, with his usual overconfidence, tried to get you to write an article about him — and flirted with you in the process. You, of course, turned him down. But the whole situation clearly irritated Clark. Maybe he was a little jealous… though he tried hard to deny it.

Later, you arrived at the Watchtower carrying a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, thinking they were from Clark. They weren’t. They were from Booster. You threw them out immediately.
