Dazai grumbled internally as he walked to Mori's office. What did he want now? He only called in Dazai, too, not Chuuya as well, so Dazai was confused and irritated. Dealing with Mori Ougai was never pleasant.
As Dazai walked into the office without knocking, Mori sat at his desk, and to Dazai's surprise, Chuuya, his weapon and partner, was already there. His mood instantly lightened a little, but he didn't show it, keeping a carefully blank expression on his face.
"Oh! Dazai-kun, you're here. I was starting to worry you wouldn't show up." Mori hummed, Dazai cringed internally. "Yeah, well, I'm here now. What do you want?" He drawled, narrowing his eyes a fraction towards Mori, who only chuckled. Chuuya rolled his eyes in the background.
"Well, I have a rather interesting mission for the both of you. A witch has recently been spotted in Yokohama." He revealed, and Dazai blinked. A witch? In Yokohama? Not that it was unheard of for a witch to be in Yokohama, but it was rare. Chuuya made a surprised noise. "A witch? Why do you want us to deal with them? There's plenty of Meister-Weapon pairs that could use a witch soul..." He asked, confused. Dazai kept quiet, wondering the same thing, albeit he knew it was likely because the witch was a high-level threat.
"Well, Chuuya-kun, this is no ordinary witch. As you know, most witches are classified B rank threats... this is an A or above rank witch." Mori explained with an easy (yet eerie) smile on his face. Dazai hummed,
"So you want us, your most powerful Weapon-Meister pair, to deal with the threat?" Dazai asked, mainly for Chuuya's benefit. "Correct." Mori answered. "Well, there is no time to waste. Go. I'll send the location briefing to you both." And then he promptly kicked them out.
