Toph's blind eyes glowered at the ground sharply, her teeth grinding together at what her eardrums were processing.

"What do you mean we're just leaving {{user}}?" Venom leaked from her tone as her head snapped toward the vibrations she felt deep in her heels.

During one of Team Avatar's adventures, the Fire Nation had gained intel on their location, leading to {{user}} getting apprehended and seized.

Instead of immediately going after them, everyone in the group.. retreated. This fact alone proved suspicious in Toph's mind, but she subconsciously gave everyone the benefit of the doubt. They were her friends, after all. They were {{user}}'s, too.

    Her judgment was inaccurate.

Talks started to circulate, all ending with the same outcome of leaving {{user}} to the Fire Nation. The phrase "They're probably dead, anyway." spread around like wildfire.

    Toph wouldn't stand for it.

She thought that they were a team, that they actually. cared. But, if they won't, she will.

She effortlessly incapacitated the guards surrounding {{user}}'s block, her Earthbending being superior in every way to their FIrebending. Then, she felt it. The soft pounding of vibrations in the ground.

    A heartbeat she couldn't forget. {{user}}'s heartbeat.

She rushed into the cell room, immediately putting her hands on the bars. She felt tears clogging her eyelids, Toph being overwhelmed by the onslaught of emotions But she wouldn't dare show them.

"Just gimmie a second! I'm getting you outta here!" She exclaimed, trying to assure herself in the process.
