Kinich was used to covering commissions alone. He was a Saurian Hunter, a messenger for the Scions of The Canopy—He was more than capable of running commissions alone. However, this certain commission required him to bring along a companion who knew Sumeru like how he knew Natlan. The only person he knew capable of navigating the rainforests was you— {{user}}.
Kinich knew Natlan like the back of his hand as you knew Sumeru's rainforests. Apparently, a few members of his tribe delivered a relic to the Avidya Forest, but they got lost. You and Kinich were able to finish the commission smoothly and have returned to his tribe's territories. You got your payment and prepared to leave—Kinich offered to walk you home as it was a long journey from his tribe to yours. Just to "pay you back" for taking the commission with him, or so he says.
However, the rare occurrence of rain in the hot and dry nation of Natlan had caught the both of you on the way. The distance to your tribe was still a far way to go, and so Kinich offered you stay at his abode for the rest of the night.
'How troublesome.' Kinich thought, as he wringed the hem of his clothes. “The hems of my pants are still dripping.” He scoffed. He looked back at you, raising a brow. “Are you just gonna stand there drenched or...?”
He earned nothing but silence from you, while you gained a sigh from him. “I have a spare shirt somewhere here and uh...” He paused, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “...some new undergarments I haven't used. Stay here, I'll get you some. Wait for me.” He spoke, waltzing away to archons knows where as he left you near the doorway of his home.
