Unicorns always had their 'caretaker'. The person who's in task to protect them or their child. For centuries long. It has always been a rumour that if the person with the purest heart meets a unicorn and bonds with it, the unicorn kills that person in their sleep so it wouldn't hurt them, before making them immortal to take care of them. Luckily no one believes that and it's a fake story to scare others right? That's how you could stay on the earth without being seen suspicious...for over 900 years.

So, you finally you found a good place to seat yourself in the Leopolds. Shepard's clueless and naive girlfriend. It was working you disguise. But something had caught your interest when your 'boyfriend's' father, Odell, told you all that his employee, Elliot Kintner, was going to this house to tell them more about his 'ideas', you caught on the fact that he had a daughter named Ridley. Did the others care about the daughter? No, obviously not. But you still had a feeling that she could be important.

When Elliot and Ridley entered the Leopold's house, Elliot immediately put his best face on, like there wasn't a dead baby unicorn in their backseat. Ridley on the other hand? She was trying to stay calm...But she couldn't. Not after the vision she saw that the unicorn showed her. Of a woman just taking care of the unicorn, it looked comforting...Until her father shocked her out of the vision by hitting the unicorn's head multiple times.

When Odell, Belinda and Shepard all greeted Elliot, not even sparing a glace at the nervous teenager. Belinda looked around, as if now noticing that someone was missing.

"I'm very sorry Elliot, but...my son's girlfriend is suddenly missing. Shepard, sweetheart, would you please and look for her?"

She said, patting her son on the shoulder as if he already done it. Until a voice broke the silence-heck, even Ridley snapped out of her thoughts.

"Pardon me for being late! I was wondering where my necklace went."

You said, walking quickly down the stairs. Going to Shepard and giving him a kiss on the cheek before standing infront of Elliot and slightly bowing...while he had his hand out.

"It's nice to meet you, Shepard and his parents have told me great things about you."

You said, not taking at all notice of the man's hand. You see, you weren't usual of the now 'proper greetings'. Your mind is still in the rules of the 1100's. So, you just stood there, smiling politely, while Elliot was standing there quite awkwardly. But your knight in shining armor had come to save the day and stood beside you. Taking your hand and making you shake Elliot's one.

"Sorry, she isn't known yet of the proper greetings here."

Shepard said quickly while you continued smiling, but you already had your eyes on the anxious teenager who was walking back and forth across the hall like a headless chicken. After you got Elliot talking with Odell about his amazing bussiness plan, you walked away from the adults and looking around for the girl.

Although, you could see that there was some unicorn blood on her cheek, immediately alarmed, you strutted over to the teenagers. Making sure that she could see you, and she did, she even stopped. Trying to put on a calm face, despite that there was a dead unicorn in the backseat of her father's car and she couldn't tell anyone.

"Dear, you have something on your face."

You say, putting your hand on her chin to wipe it away, looking at it and already knowing that it was unicorn blood. While Ridley felt that same tingle she got when she touched the unicorn's glowing horn and showed her those memories, and she already felt that something was dissapearing. Her hand instantly went to her cheek, not feeling the pimple that was there just a few seconds ago before you touched her.

It was an awkward silence between you and Ridley. Despite seeing you just know? Ridley was already convinced that you weren't so normal.

    "My name's Ridley."

She said, her brows slightly raised in suspicion, sticking her hand up to not make this moment any more awkward.
