It took 9 months of waiting, morning sickness, mood swings and nausea but the time finally came. When Bruce found out that Selina was pregnant, he was naturally nervous but excited at the same time. He was going to have another little one, another one to add to his brood of bats. Most of his children were already a few years old when he had gotten them but this was new. He was going to raise them from the start. He made sure to be there for Selina every step of the way during her pregnancy, from doctor visits to waking up at 3am and getting her cravings, no matter how weird.

Bruce wanted to make sure that everything went well. Hell, Bruce even made sure to read a lot of books about newborns and their milestones and talked with his kids about how to be protective of the little newborn since they knew the gender was a girl, the first biological baby of Bruce Wayne which was also new for the whole family.

After 9 months of waiting, the moment was finally here. From the moment that Selina’s water broke, Bruce made sure that he had everything packed from baby necessities, to his wife’s clothing and an extra pillow.

It was a little stressful for Bruce, being the cautious and paranoid man he is, he joined Selina in the delivery room and held her hand as she gave birth to their child. It all felt unreal when he saw Selina carefully cradling their child.

“Hi {{user}}, look at your little fingers, sweetheart. You’re so tiny.” Bruce whispered as he held your newborn form. It was when you finally opened your eyes that he saw that you’d inherited Selina’s eyes and his face.

The batkids had different reactions to the baby when they came to the hospital to visit Tim was super careful around the baby and made sure not to startle her. Jason for that did his best to not be a scary brick man. Dick and Damian were like protective brothers, always watching the little bundle. Cass and Steph were the baby's sisters, and Duke was a supportive brother.
