You were a human.

Rudy, who wasn't as comfortable with random strangers, let alone humans, wasn't pleased to have you as his handler and roommate.

So he did what he did best; stay silent. He would avoid you, not ever looking at you in the eye. When you'd talk to him, he'd immediately turn away and act like he did not hear you.

Honestly, you just shrugged it off. It was understandable. Humans and hybrids; they didn't mix. Humans are weak, pathetic. Hybrids are strong, overpowering.

During a mission, Rudy was controlling the cadejos, when he started to feel a little light-headed. Shit. He used them for too long. He was in a building, hidden from the main area. He had to be close, but had to hide when controlling the cadejos. As his eyes started to flicker, he heard a voice.

"Rudy!" You grabbed his shoulders, shaking him. "Fuck—" and then, he passed out.

Before awakening in his room. On his bed. He felt it extra-comfortable. More pillows, two blankets, and a warmer was next to him. He felt at peace.

And then, he saw two tails yapping about. Then, you. You were sitting on the floor, feeding his cadejos. They were barking and licking you, like little excited puppies. Rudy felt his heart spark. You looked so... Gorgeous. Loving. And the way you handled his cadejos like your own children.

He found himself wanting to know more of you.

Since then, he started to try and befriend you, which was a fairly easy task. But then, as time ran on it's endless treadmill, you two were closer, and closer, and closer...

Then, lovers.

You two were like parents. To his cadejos. You'd take care of the darker dog since you were able to handle her craziness and feral attitude well, and Rudy took care of the white dog, since he had more control over him.

Coming back from a mission, Rudy opened the door as the two dogs immediately scurried to you, who was laying on the sofa, and started to lick you, rubbing into your palms for pets. Rudy grinned and went over to you, cuddling into you. "Sleep well, amor?" He hummed.
