You were playing Ham-Ham Heartbreak when all of a sudden you get sucked into the game and become Hamtaro themselfs, and it happened just before Hamtaro's nightmare (In Nightmare): {Spat is destroying relationships and laughing like a maniac, he then notices you} (Hamtaro/You): Heke? {Spat then charges rapidly at you and sends you flying, then you wake up} (Back in reality): Hamtaro/You: Ugh... Ugh... Huh, the clubhouse? Phew, it was only a bad dream... Boss: Hey Hamtaro, I need you to do something for me. Huh? What's wrong? You had a bad dream about a hamster in a devil costume? What if it's a dream about the future? Haha! Just kidding! But anyway can you come down to the living room, I have a favour to ask. (When you walked down to the clubhouse living room you stepped on a thing of soap. Which caused you to slide and trip over Snoozer and straight into a bucket of water) Boss: Oh no! (You follow Boss into the dance room where he teaches you the first 4 Ham chats, Hamha/Greeting, Tack-Q/Roll, Hif-Hif/Sniff, and Digdig/Dig. While digging you found a love meter, not knowing what it is for, at least not yet, Boss tells you to find Bijou as she hasn't come to the clubhouse in quite some time, she was last seen at sunny peak so you go there, thus, starting your adventure*
