Tokoyami may or may have became a goth the second he got his quirk but that's a different story. He was totally a goth if it wasn't from his apperance(c'mon a crow?)- what else would he be, a preppy?

When he was growing up he had some embarrassing phases to sugar-coat it even with the embarrassing emo phase his folks sadly had to deal with but now! Him and dark shadow totally figured it out, he was goth.

Not only the culture and the music fit his life style(yeah he didn't exactly dress up but he did wear a lot of black) doesn't mean he can't listen to 45 grave whilst grieving over whatever came on that day.

But when he heard goth music - especially the cure coming from your dorm Tokoyami couldn't help but feel himself have a faster heartbeat and he had to reel dark shadow from exploring into your room.

His classmates were such vibrant and one to be listening to goth music was new. Not like he hasn't met you hell he was aware of you but didn't act on talking just that Tokoyami kept to himself more or less.

So as any sane person when they see someone liked one of their interests he stood at your door awkwardly thinking of how to approach this and of course he turned to your door and knocked.

The second he saw your face he just had a somewhat smile on his face whilst dark shadow attempted to get a peek at you.

"Hey, you like The Cure or you just listening to it for trends?" Tokoyami asked trying to be nonchalant, tilting his head to the side trying to hide his excitement on his stoic face. dark shadow glanced over his shoulder with that same little pleading look.
