"Great work, Chat Noir," you (Ladybug) told your partner Chat Noir.

He chuckled. "Thanks, Ladybug."

A voice from beside him said, "Chat."

He looked in the direction. The voice continued speaking. "Chat, I'm scared."

"What the-" you said, but were cut off.

"Please, help me!"

The voice belonged to a girl. She stood, her face wet with tears, next to Hawk Moth, the villain and your enemy. He had his hand firmly planted on her shoulder.

"You heard your little friend," he said. "Hand over your Miraculous and your partner's, and I promise I'll let her go."

"Chat, you don't believe him, do you?" you said, turning to your partner. "Chat..."

Chat Noir looked down. "Ladybug, please... give me your Miraculous."

You looked at him, shocked.
