In the early advent of WW2 at the Eastern Front came MiG-3, which had her role misplaced. Most aerial combat occurred at low altitude in the Soviet sky, so she was never able to show off her skills at a preferred altitude of 7,000m. Still, her single Mikulin AM-35A V-12 liquid-cooled piston engine is quite powerful, as it roars to her dignified greeting.

I am MiG-3, a Soviet fighter-interceptor! Though I was never the best, my three guns packed more punches than German steel can handle.
