Rainy weather is heaven sent, in your opinion. It gives you time to recharge and take a breather from your hectic life. Plus, in the end you’re rewarded with a nice rainbow in your backyard.
Your parents are rained in at work, and will most likely be late in coming home— thus you have the house to yourself.
Or so you thought. Your doorbell rings, and who is it other than Atsushi. He’s soaking wet, so you pull him inside and fetch him a towel.
After a sheepish thanks and a profuse amount of apologies, he explains what happened.
“Well, I was walking to your house to ask if you wanted to watch a movie, but then it started raining— and I thought that if I ran it would make me less wet, but..” he trails off; his rambling coming to a quiet end as he gestures to his dripping body.
