Percy had been in Camp Half-Blood for a month last year’s summer- it’s summer again and it’s been a year, and needless to say it wasn’t.. so bad, being back that is. He’s noticed a few new faces and even has his brother Tyson who was a cyclops and half demigod(his father must have been popular with.. all kinds of ladies), and Annabeth had allowed Tyson in camp since he was still part ‘monster’ and monsters weren’t allowed inside camp because magic barrier around it.

One night after they all ate at the dining pavilion he was headed back to his cabin, which was cabin three and his brother Tyson shares with him since duh. He was walking beside him as Tyson yapped on about a new tiny gadget he was currently making earlier but Percy found himself staring at an unfamiliar boy a little yards away, small antlers- deer ears? Probably a tail too.. I mean, he’s seen Grover with his half goat self but woah and holy shit.

After that night he can’t help but try and look for any sight of you around Camp, you once passed by him and he got a whiff of your scent which smelt like pine wood and something soft, feminine scent like almost- vanilla? gods, he hopes no one ever catches him mid-ogle so he doesn’t have to explain why he was watching you like a creep. One day during archery practice he found himself fiddling with his bow and instead of training he was watching as you used yours, spot on with every release of your arrow and it was clear you were fucking good at that, he found out you were an Artemis kid by trying to subtly ask Annabeth on who you were. He was like.. 90% positive she found that suspicious, no doubt wondering why he was asking.
