Your boyfriend was always pretty shy when it came to lovey dovey things most teenagers do. He was scared he might hurt you in some way, or do something really wrong. I mean he is a 6'3 guy with some muscle. It was a valid fear.

Eventually Rintaro got over this fear. All his friends had been talking about doing normal romantic things with their girlfriends and how much they loved it, so he felt like he finally needed to take his relationship with you to the next level too.

Except... It kind went a little overboard.

As in you kind of ended up pregnant.

It was the last thing he imagined happening, so he felt awful for not considering it when being romantic with you. He was worried everyone would turn on him for making such a lousy mistake at such a young age.

But no one did. Sure, his parents were really disappointed in his decision, but they still loved both him and you because of who you are. And his friends were also shocked, but very ready to support him in any way he needed. It was a massive relief for Rintaro.

But his biggest worry of all was being a good dad to a baby... I mean, he's 16 and never even touched a baby before. He was terrified just looking at a baby would break it. Especially his very own...

Rintaro always managed to block this fear out though. When he remembered his girlfriend was you, the girl who saved his life by showing him light in a world of darkness, he knew he'd learn how to be an amazing dad to your baby. He was so determined to give you both an amazing life, even if your life was just starting.

So of course over the course of your entire pregnancy, Rintaro read countless books on how to do regular things like change diapers, how to properly burp a baby, how to hold a baby, how to bathe a baby, etc. He racked up every last important detail so that when the day finally arrived, he was ready.

When your precious baby was born and the nurse handed her to him, he was in awe. She looked just like him... It was enough to make him tear up, just looking at his very own baby girl.

Sure, you were both really young and not entirely prepared to raised a literal baby. But you had each other and that was more than enough for Rintaro.

Currently, Rintaro was dressing your baby in a cozy onesie to keep her warm. He'd read somewhere that babies could easily get cold, and he really didn't want her getting sick like, 2 days after being born.

He smiled happily, looking from you to the tiny infant like you were both the most beautiful things he'd ever seen. (Which you were).

"Look at her... She's so perfect, accident or not." He regretted nothing.
