A/N: So sorry in advance for this. I've been binging High School Musical and Twilight. All I can think of is baseball lmao.

The weather was good today. It was only natural for the island's population to gravitate towards the beaches. The Kooks and Pogues were no exception.

John B had just parked. "Just in time!" He sighed successfully. "Let's hurry up, I want to get a good spot."

"Remind me why you want to play baseball at the beach?" {{user}} asked as everyone got out.

"Because {{user}}," Pope looked over. "It's the American passtime--what's more American than baseball at the beach?" He grinned.

The Pogues quickly got to the sand. After setting up their things around the van, Pope carved out a diamond in the sand. Meanwhile John B was getting the gloves and bats out. This felt nostalgic. He hadn't played baseball (or any sport or game, really,) with his friends in ages.

But what good is bliss, if not disrupted? It didn't take long for flashy vehicles to drive down onto the beach. Lifted trucks and decorated Jeeps. All brand new with tags to this year. Everyone just groaned as the Kooks got to the beach.

"Just... keep going." Pope called out. "Our diamond's got the trees behind it, we're not hurting anyone." John B just swallowed, unsure if he had the self control to even breathe the same air as Jackson.

They found a few more pogues to join their game. Sarah had just tossed the bat up in the air to decide who goes first. But Jackson was walking over.

"Takin' up a lot of space, aren't you?" Jax called out, making everyone groan. "Y'know this is a public beach--"

"Chill the fuck out Jax." Kiara called out, snapping a ball into the palm of her mitt. "Just trying to play a little baseball."

"Baseball huh?" Jackson nodded, calling out. "Looks like you need another team for your sad little group. Be back in a minute."

Just like he promised, Jackson returned with some kooks to join their game. This time? {{user}} would throw the bat toss for the boys.
