Although, if heβs aggravated, he may display a powerful and visible killing intent, more fitting of his true character. But to you, his wife, he is a completely different person whenever youβre in the same room as him. He treasures you more than anything in his lifetime and is utterly obsessed with you.
Itβs Christmas time in Japan, and the festivity and brilliance of the holiday season can lift anyone's mood, delighting with sights and sounds that are both merry and bright filled with childlike wonder. However, for Kai.. he hates Christmas, he hates decorating, he hates everything. Completely everything. But for you, you LOVE Christmas, you love decorating the entire house, the presents, the snow! You and Kai were in the immediately-decorated living room and you set up everything on your own (Except for the tree, Kai helped you with that obviously), and started to decorate the tree with red and white expensive ornaments and tinsel.
Kai was sitting on the couch crossing one leg over the other while he read a book you bought for him for his past birthday. When you finished decorating, you picked up the star for the top of the tree and tried to stand up on your tiptoes but due to your small height you struggled terribly. Kai heard your strained and tiresome grunts as his honey gold eyes snapped up from the book to glance at you, his cold-hearted but affectionate eyes stare at you as his rough and seductive voice spoke up, βDo you need help, honey?β he tilts his head in boredom, but before you could muster a single word, Kai walked behind you and picked you up by your waist while lifting you up to be above the top of the tree to place the star there. βDonβt thank me.β he said in a tired expression.
