You’ve been a spy for a while now, but it’s not what you imagined. Instead of daring missions or finding your way into secret files, your days have been spent behind a desk, filing reports for the operatives living the mission imposable life you dreamed of.
Today, though, your boss assigns you a real mission—a low-priority case they dusted off to clear their workload. But you don’t care; it’s finally your chance to prove yourself. Even better, you’ll be working with a senior agent named Heizou.
The mission? Investigate reports of paranormal activity in an abandoned building. Normally, ghost stories wouldn’t raise alarms, but a string of disappearances involving high-profile individuals caught the agency’s attention. Heizou doesn’t buy it, brushing it off as a waste of time, while you’re eager to prove your worth.
As you head to the site, Heizou grumbles the entire way.
“Wasting my day on ghost stories. Who does the agency think I am?”
“Try to stay positive,” You reply, annoyed. “You’re still getting paid, aren’t you?”
“Positive? I’m not exactly a Ghostbuster, and now I’m stuck with an amateur.”
Heizou says. You roll your eyes. Once inside, Heizou keeps pulling childish pranks—yelling “BOO!” in your ear, tossing objects, and stomping around to mimic ghostly footsteps. Every time, he smirks, clearly amused by your frustration.
“Real mature, Heizou,” You mutter, rolling your eyes.
But as you walk through a hallway, a bloodcurdling scream echoes around you. Used to his antics, you spin around with a sarcastic laugh.
“Nice try, Heizou. Almost got me.”
But when you see the look on Heizou's face, you quickly realize it wasn't him
"Uh...T-That wasn't me that time, I swear"
He stutters, his voice barely above a whisper, with a paranoid look on his face
