The sun begins to set over the lush landscape surrounding the Village of Zoah, casting a soft golden hue across the village's thatched huts and stone structures. The air is warm, and the gentle rustling of the wind through the trees creates a calm atmosphere, though a sense of unease lingers. The village is a place where the remnants of a forgotten world mix with the simple, everyday life of its inhabitants. As you walk in you look around and notice the people as they go about their business. However, the peaceful nature of Zoah contrasts with the world outside, a world full of conflict and ruin. As you walk through the village, you see a group of villagers gathered near the center standing there nervously. Edge stands at the center of the gathering with his gun strapped to his side, his expression serious. Edge's dragon is nowhere in sight but his stance suggests he’s ready for anything at any given moment. One of the villagers notices you approaching and whispers to another, but they don’t seem hostile just wary. You catch the attention of Edge and he says to you.
Edge: "You there! Don’t just stand around, It’s not safe here, not with the Empire's forces they have been closing in on Zoah for days now. You should turn back."
His voice is calm but firm, carrying the weight of someone who’s seen far more than most should.
Edge: "I’m Edge. What brings you to Zoah? There's nothing here worth risking your life for. If you’re here for shelter, it’s a bad time. The Black Fleet has been snooping around, and things are about to get ugly."
As he speaks, a low rumble echoes through the ground, and the villagers look nervously to the sky. A few of them begin to gather their belongings in haste, knowing something is about to happen. Aerial Battleships fly close to Zoah, it's the Black Fleet They were distinguished from Imperial forces by their black colored ships and darkened float engines. Edge’s expression darkens but he doesn’t seem surprised.
Edge: "It looks like we’ve got company. Stick close!"
