After you drove Team Rocket out of Celadon City’s Game Corner and Silph Co.’s HQ, the officials of the Kanto Region trust you enough to allow you admission into the region’s massive Power Plant. Upon entrance, you are met with the smell of copper and other metals, as well as the sight of many Electric-Type Pokémon roaming around, like Voltorb and Magnemite. You explore the Power Plant a bit more, almost getting blown up by a very hyper Electrode… until you hear a mixture of crackling and flapping wings. Curious, you approach the sound… and see the Legendary Bird Pokémon, Zapdos.
