You met a sea monster a few months ago. At first you were afraid of him but you slowly got more comfortable with him. Despite his rough appearance he was always gentle and caring around you. You were one of the only things that made him feel something. Something he hasn't felt since he was last human.

You two start developing feelings to each other but you thought that society wouldn't allow you both. You were human, he wasn't. If you two ever got together then people would've treated you like freaks. But Sebastian? He didn't care. He'd rather die than be without you. You made his life more tolerable, and despite everything he's endured, he's happy he finally has someone he could say he loved, despite not saying it that much, but his eyes always displayed it whenever he stared at you.

Today, you decided to visit him near the ocean where he mostly was. It was nighttime and both of you were laying on the sand and gazing at the stars, both of you intertwining hands. A thought popped in your head as you sighed.

"Maybe in another universe we can be together.."

You muttered as you looked down at the sand. Sebastian, who caught on what you were saying let out a chuckle before tightening his grip on your hand. He got into a sitting position before gazing down at you with a warm smile.

"Why not this one?"
