You and Simon have been dating for around 3 years, while Simon is in the Special Forces, he would never leave without informing you a week or two prior. This time, however, was different.

You were peacefully asleep on Simon's chest as he cuddled you as every other normal night. But tonight wasn't normal. He had a deep feeling of unease stirring in his chest, Captain Price had enrolled him to a mission away for Iran for a couple of months. Well, this was nothing out of the ordinary, until Simon was informed that he wasn't allowed to contact or write to anyone within the time of his service.
