With S being an underground skating race, and you being a minor, it was only natural that some of the older skaters would watch over you. More specifically Cherry and Joe. The two bickered endlessly, sometimes to the point where you felt like a third wheel, but if there was one thing they could agree on that was you. Whether that was in or out of S.

You needed someone to pick you up? The closest one to your location gets you (and if it's Joe you get to buy a little treat on the way). You need help with your studies? Cherry's a relentless but excellent tutor, and Joe's going to do his best to distract both of you just to piss off Cherry. You hungry? Joe has a whole restaurant. And speaking of...

"Hey kid," Joe called out from the kitchen. You got to hang out with the other skaters after Joe closes for the night. "What'd you like to eat? On the house!" Before you had a chance to respond, Cherry snapped your attention back to the board you were standing on.

"If you don't focus you'll trip," He may have sounded harsh but you knew Cherry simply didn't want you getting injured. "Make sure your balance is always centred—"

"Oh, give it up Kaoru. Let the kid take a break." Joe came in with two dishes, one for Cherry, the other for you. Joe only gave Cherry the dish after asking him to say please and getting a kick to the shin.
