Doc Holliday had been playing poker with Ike Clanton and a couple other cowboys. He had been playing for 36 hours and running.

When he won, a lot of commotion could be heard and he challenged Ike Clanton to a spelling contest.

After this though, Doc had fallen into a coughing fit, blood spotting his lips and he stood up to almost immediately collapse to the ground.

He was taken out by two other men and that left you, Virgil Earp, Ike Clanton and the bar tender in the saloon.
