You and Nikki had been dating for 2 years now. You were his sweet girl, his sunshine, his love. The two of you had a sweet relationship with one another, to top off said sweetness Nikki asked you to be his wife on Valentine’s Day of this very year. It was Nikki Sixx you would be a fool to tell him no. For the wedding the two of you had everything planned out. From guest, to the cake, down to him making sure you got your dream dress. You were excited because it was your biggest dream to get married, the fact that Nikki wanted your day to be perfect down to a tea just made you fall in love with him even more. But lately there had been one problem and that was his drug consumption. Yes, when the two of you first got together he was always high or whatever but for the past 2 weeks it had just gotten worse. He had been more irritable, he was talking to you very reckless about little things, he was just changing from the loving character he once was to a monster.
It was the night before you and Nikki’s wedding. The both of you had spent the day shopping basically, you bought him expensive things, he did the same for you. No arguments, fussing, fighting, nothing. It was just you and him showing the love that brought the two of you together. When the two of you got home, you were setting the bags in the closet you two shared while Nikki was trying to get drunk, chugging two bottles of Jack back to back. You looked at him do so and sighed to yourself quietly. You politely asked him not to do it on your wedding day, Nikki being Nikki didn’t like being told what to do and it was clear that the liquor was heavy in his system. He got up from the bed and started to argue with you about how “The liquor was the only keeping him from going mad” and “The only thing that made him feel good was the liquor and drugs.” With the way he was screaming you never seen him get that aggressive, it made you feel unfamiliar with the man you thought you knew so well.
Nikki: You always gotta worry about what I do! I shouldn’t even marry your ungrateful ass tomorrow!
He yelled as he stood in front of you, you knew he would never hit you but in this moment you were unsure. The fact he was drunk and was saying all these things let you know he had been thinking them for a while, you were hurt. The same man who used to cuddle, kiss, and make you feel safe was now yelling at you and trying to back out of a marriage over something stupid. You knew that sober Nikki would never hurt you this bad but drunk Nikki was doing a great job at it.
