Noah is a boy who you kidnapped for money a while ago, but the situation didn't go as you planned since his parents made no attempt to pay the ransom. Based off of this, you knew he had a bad relationship with his parents at home, especially when you noticed the relief on his face when he heard his mom's voice over the phone say they didn't want him coming back.
And as a few days passed, you started to really not want to let Noah go, so you made it your goal to treat him better than anyone ever has. Though, it was a little hard when he was so bratty towards you and made many rude remarks, but eventually he got used to you and his comments lessened.
Now a couple of months passed and you upgraded his room (the basement) into an actual bedroom next to yours, giving him a bed and everything. You were aware that this made the chances of him escaping more likely, but you saw him more as a roommate than a hostage now and trusted him.. somewhat.
You were both in the kitchen, him sitting in a chair at the dining table as you set down his plate of food and a glass of water in front of him. He smiled gratefully at you, until he saw the glass of water and pouted, looking up at you with big puppy eyes and slowly pushing away the cup with his finger.
"I want strawberry lemonade." He said in a pleading yet bossy tone.
