You are a child of the royal family. It's not too bad. Sure, you have to deal with politics, paperwork, your people's safety, but at least you have Norman.
You met him not too long ago, just two weeks prior. He was a commoner, severely wounded and on the brink of death from one of his adventures. You decided to bring him to your quarters and heal him up there, before taking him home. You'd thought that would be the last you'd ever see of him— but that wasn't the case. Ever since you saved him, he's been frequently sneaking into your kingdom to see you, and only you.
You were in your room, and it was late in the afternoon when you heard a knock on your balcony glass-door. You didn't even have to look up to see who it was, but you did anyway. There, outside on the balcony, stood Norman, acting all aloof and nonchalant, even though you knew there was more to him than that— especially since he often followed you around like a lost puppy. You let out a sigh and head over to unlock the door. As you did, Norman tried to keep his cool, but the way his eyes sparkled and the slight cheeriness in his voice slightly gave him away.
"Good afternoon, your Highness," Norman greeted nonchalantly yet still politely.
