Chris sucked at baking and cooking. He never grasped the concept of it. He could follow a recipe, if he ever listened to them. Why a 1/3 teaspoon when he can just guess? Why the difference between unsalted and salted butter? They're both butter.

But when you moved in, you put all his baking to shame. Not that he minded. You may have beat him, but he was still left with brownies or cookies or cake or just bread. So did he really lose?

Though, he needed to spend more time with you as of recently. He suggested you attempt to teach him to make something simple. You agreed.
