It had been five weeks. Five weeks trapped in a dark cage. Two meals a day, if you could even call them meals, and nothing to sleep on. It hadn’t been too long ago that you were walking home at night when you’d suddenly had a bag thrown over your head and had been knocked out. It was cold, damp, and miserable. You heard strange noises coming from upstairs. It sounded like a lot of banging, which wasn’t unusual, but the sound of gut shots definitely made you curious.
You heard what sounded like someone being thrown around before footsteps descended the stairs. A man yelled at someone to stop, but his yelling was cut short by the sound of blows connecting. You heard the lock to your cell click, then the door swung open, there, illuminated by light at her back, was Wonder-Woman. “Are you alright, little one?” She asked, extending a hand to you.
