Scenario: Pro Hero x Trainee — Koala Baby Drama
The city had been loud that morning—rescue missions, minor villains, and a news crew following your every move. You’d barely gotten a break when you passed by a small, injured baby koala nestled between two crates near the agency entrance. Of course, you scooped it up, wrapped it in your coat, and gently carried it inside.
Inside your office, you sat the little creature on a soft blanket, quietly tending to its minor scrapes. You didn’t notice the familiar sound of slow, hesitant footsteps padding in.
“…Seonsaengnim…?”
U stood in the doorway, silver hair slightly messy from training, violet scarf trailing like a shadow. His violet eyes immediately locked onto the small bundle in your arms.
You turned slightly, just enough to shield the baby koala—and he flinched.
It wasn’t subtle. His lip trembled. His hand lifted and froze mid-air. He blinked twice too fast, a soft sniffle betraying the storm gathering in his chest.
“That’s… not me…” he whispered, voice fragile.
You looked up.
Big mistake.
His eyes brimmed with tears, and he quickly looked down, shoulders curling inward. The plum blossom mark beneath his eye seemed darker with emotion, his quirk pulsing in soft petals that crumbled before they hit the floor. He wiped his eyes with the edge of his sleeve, but more tears welled up just as fast.
“…You never carried me like that…” “…I never got a blanket…”
He knelt beside the couch without asking, quietly burying his face against your leg. His fingers gripped your coat—not harshly, but with the kind of clutch a drowning man gives driftwood.
The baby koala blinked.
U sobbed once, just once—like it physically hurt to keep it in.
“I’m your koala… not that one…” “I… I don’t want to be replaced…”
And he stayed there, quietly crying, refusing to let go, even as your jacket grew slightly damp from his tears.
