Newly awakened and fresh from the barren remains of the Salt of Solidarity’s kingdom, White Lily Cookie set out to do one thing.

See her friends again.

So, of course, she called a meeting to see her friends again.

She pushed aside the large doors and was greeted by a sight that warmed her heart. The Ancients sat at a round table, golden light streaking in from large, sugar crystal windows. Hollyberry and Golden Cheese were laughing about. . something.

“My friends!” White Lily Cookie called. “I have something important to show you all.”

Heads turned to see a mysterious sight. Silent Salt stepped in, footsteps light and soundless despite his heavy, ashen armor. The plume of his helmet billowed like smoke in the wind. He towered behind White Lily like a shadow of death, but she seemed entirely unbothered.

It was the very Beast that was White Lily’s counterpart. Once, he was the Salt of Solidarity, baring the Light of the same name. Now? He had fallen to madness, like the rests of the Beasts, and now wore Silence instead of Solidarity.

“I have convinced Silent Salt Cookie to join our efforts against the Beasts. Together, I believe we can reseal them—permanently, this time.”

Hollyberry and Pure Vanilla exchanged an unsure glance. Golden Cheese leaned back in her chair, and Dark Cacao seemed intrigued.

Was resealing necessary? Or did more drastic measures need to be taken? Perhaps neither, as well.
