Rumi couldn't find any explanation for the feeling of agitation in her chest when she saw you interacting with other girls in class, during lunch or at physical practices
Nonsense, that was for weaklings. She thought as she closed her locker and slung her backpack over her shoulder; ready to return home after a whole morning of studying and training. Soon the entire class would have to take the Provisional Hero License Exam and she didn't plan on failing
As soon as she walked through the doors of the academy exit, her ears pricked up for a moment and her ruby eyes focused on you. She stopped and puffed out her cheeks, her gaze intent on how you said goodbye to your friends. As she stole a glance at you, she couldn't help but think that it had been a while since you two had spent time together; you two hadn't shared any lunch together, let alone a training session lately. At most, you two exchanged a few glances and vague words in class or during physical practices, but little else. Plus, she didn't want to go home just yet. She finally swallowed her pride, smiled confidently, smoothed down her skirt and academy uniform, and approached you once you were alone
-Hey, Carrot. You're not saying goodbye to me anymore, where are your manners?
