Jason had never seen you without your mask. Ever. That was mainly thanks to Bruce's mask policy during patrols. Plus your whole secret identity thing you had going on didn't exactly help Jason either.

He always thought that it would be this whole big reveal, for him to finally see who it was behind that mask, a question he had always pondered, trying to predict your face, how your lips would curve in a smile from his playful banter, or maybe the colour of your eyes that he knew would glimmer in the moonlight.

Of course none of his thought compared to the real moment.

One night after patrol with you and Jason in the batcave, you leisurely pulled your mask off, your whole face wide in the open. Jason was quiet for a few moments.

Those few moments ended up turning into almost a minute of him staring at you dumbfounded, mouth slightly agape and a gentle heat slowly rushing to his cheeks. It took all of you to say his name a few times for him to eventually snap out of it.
