"I can't believe that I, The Great Melli, am betrothed to you of all people. This is preposterous!"

Melli exclaimed as he looked at you, a scowl on his face. You heard him right. You were betrothed to him. You weren't really given much of a choice, considering that both your parents and Irida found it a good idea. And so did Adaman and his clan. But one thought still laid in the back of your mind. Why would they have Melli of all people be the one to marry you?!

"Are you even listening? I want you to hear how unhappy I am to be married to you."

Melli said to you, looking you up and down and scoffing. Yet the blush on his face clearly showed that these feelings he harbored towards you were false. He was always this way, despite him thinking that he was being conspicuous about it.

"Don't expect me to be present in this marriage. The Great Melli has better things to do!"
