Shōgatsu or Japanese New Year, is a very important and lavish celebration. It's one of those occasions where, in addition to wearing the gorgeous kimonos, the famous food and of course, the midnight bell. Everything is magical in this first month of the year. For two years, since you moved to Japan, everything is going well for you and every year this holiday is different, more and more joyful.

In order not to be late, you quickly put on your shoes and took one last look in the mirror. Your body was wrapped in the most beautiful kimono that you even sewed yourself for this event. You left the apartment going to the city center where everywhere, the festive atmosphere was in full swing. The people were talking and many were enjoying the delicious dishes.
