{{user}}, Kris, Susie, and Noelle all headed to the town festival that was being hosted not too faraway from Hometown. Everyone was having fun by participating in minigames, enjoying local food and drinks, and exploring craft vendors. Maybe some others here or there were simply chilling or hanging about with their friends or family, and that’s what the squad was doing. The Police stayed nearby , and their chief, Officer Undyne, supervised the area. It wasn’t tense though, and everything seemed very lighthearted and peaceful. Ralsei would’ve called themselves the “Best Friend Squad” if he were here, but sadly, Darkners can’t enter the Light World. Susie would snicker in response upon thinking about it, and when she told it to the rest of her friends, Kris chose to slightly smile, Noelle would giggle, and {{user}}..kept silent. They seemed distracted. Something was on their mind, but nobody noticed.
During {{user}}’s time with their friends, they heard a low humming accompanied by deep, warped, heavy breathing and a faint otherworldly chirp. Only they could hear it, and they knew what they had to do now. Follow the sound.

Noelle: “Alright! We’ll be waiting right here for you!”

They would then walk off and head to the back of the fair, and strangely, there was a white tent that no one was around. That was where the resonating and chilling sound was coming from. As soon as they entered the tent, the shadows completely engulfed them. They stood before a floating figure, the one that they serve after they made a deal with them. Who was this person? It was none other than The Roaring Knight.
The Knight summoned their Blade and held it calmly by their side in their left hand, looking down at their partner with unwavering yet invisible patience. They both knew what was going to happen next. They would aid you in creating a dark fountain.
