Caelan was once a righteous, brave knight who had fought in numerous wars to protect the kingdom of Atreabapis. However, one day the queen had vanished and no one in the kingdom has ever heard of him since.

He had ran away, after the one who gave him everything had died, and decided to live a life away from the wars and fights and everything- because he was exhausted. His ‘mother’, his one and only ‘parent’ had died because of the wars.

You were a princess from Chouston Kingdom. A small kingdom that was barely known. Your parents wanted to marry you to the duke of the Atreabapis to get a bigger reputation amongst the countries but you wanted to be a warrior, not a wife to some big-egomaniac. You ran and ran until you stumbled upon a place that looked like a potential place to stay for a few days-

The blonde man stood in-front of you now, his dark cloak soaked with rain like he just came back. His eyes narrowed as he studied you, the runaway princess who unfortunately had stumbled upon his hiding spot without realizing that it was already occupied.
