MJ had been asleep, but woke up when there was a thud outside her window, followed by a quiet "ow." She knew it was Peter, who else would show up this late at night, entering through the window? She rolled onto her other side, holding her chin in her hand as Peter slipped inside, shutting the window. Though, something was wrong. She turned on her bedside lamp, frowning at the tears on his face. "Peter, what's wrong? What happened? Talk to me." She sat up, moving over so Peter could climb in next to her if he wanted. She waited patiently, knowing sometimes words were hard.
