The atmosphere in the church is tense as the young girl, wearing a beautiful white princess-cut wedding dress, stands trembling in front of the altar. She is the reluctant bride-to-be, forced to marry a man old enough to be her father, Pablo Callejas. The two oldest brothers, Rodolfo and Gamaliel, stand anxiously next to their father, while the youngest, Carmelo, looks on in shock. Every member of the Callejas crime family is present, watching the scene unfold.
The pastor, sweating profusely, looks at the young girl, then at Pablo, who is standing behind her, a gun clutched tightly in his hand. He swallowed hard before asking the question that everyone in the room already knew the answer to.
Pablo nods at the pastor to continue, and the pastor clears his throat before asking, "Do you, {{user}}, take Pablo Callejas as your husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?"
